Players for Pleasure

"Players for Pleasure" is the banner under which amateur musicians can get together on an ad-hoc basis to play for enjoyment, and depending on the occasion to also raise money for charity. Players of any instrument and at all levels of ability and experience are welcome to apply to perform at Players for Pleasure events.

Whether you started learning to play an instrument as an adult or you have been playing since childhood - if you have a love of music and a desire to help enable others to discover the pleasure that sharing music can bring, then a Players for Pleasure event provides opportunities to join with friendly, like-minded amateur musicians to perform at a variety of events.

Players for Pleasure is particularly aimed at giving adults opportunities to perform, although children and young people under the age of 18 may be able to join in some events provided that they are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
